Would you like your child to participate in an international ‘Say Hello to the World’ project? You can speak to your kindergarten teacher and inform her about us, or contact us. We will try to do our best to make it happen.

Proclamation of the Republic Day - Brazil

Today, the country of beautiful beaches and tropical islands at one end, and the mysterious tropical forests at the other, celebrates its "Republic Day". In 1889, the former Empire of Brazil declared the Republic. Its current Constitution, formulated in 1988, defines Brazil as a Federal Republic. The Federation is formed by the union of the Federal District, the 26 States, and the 5,564 Municipalities. The national flag of each one of them contains an image of stars on a blue background, which symbolizes the Earth. The inscription "Ordem e Progresso" means "order and progress".
